I voted for "House passes it, but Senate won't convict."

But it will be good for vulnerable Senate GOP-ers in Maine, NC, Colorado, AZ, and Iowa to have to go on the record about Donny's high crimes before the 2020 election.

I think you have this backwards. Assuming you want people who vote for impeachment to win, I fully expect the opposite. The left wants him impeached. The Right does not. The CENTER does not!

The Center wants Congress to be working on the economy, healthcare, etc..... NOT impeachment.

We’ll have to agree to disagree.

The Dems won the house in a landslide in 2018 to hold Donny accountable. That’s what they’re finally doing.

The breakdown from this article:

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/09/25/impeachment-poll-pelosi-trump-1510382

percent of groups who support impeachment:

36% of registered voters overall, which includes:

33% independents
5% republicans
66% democrats

why those numbers don't add up to 100 I don't know,.

Probably dead Democrats voted in it, same as at election time.

Because 33% of independents, 66% of Dems, and 5% of republicans don’t make up the entire country. 100% of Dems, 100% of independents, and 100% of GOP voters would equal 100%.

I do not see any mention of a quid pro quo in the transcript

although I am sure the Lefties and MSM will latch onto this:

Which means 82 Democratic House member have not gone on record.

Not any more.

My source for the number 153 was a list that had been compiled by CNN. That was yesterday morning. Things have changed fast. CNN's current tally is 201.

Politico is using different criteria than CNN, because Politico's tally is 208. (Yesterday morning Politico said 160.)

Here's some US Constitution trivia: even if the House of Representatives successfully passes Articles of Impeachment, it is expected that the Senate hold a trial to convict or acquit. But the Constitution does not require that the Senate hold a trial. It's optional! So Mitch McConnell has some big decisions to make.

MSNBC has had a little chyron on screen all day showing how many Dems currently support it. Currently at 212, was just 211 a few minutes ago.

The numbers are moving in the right direction. Heck, the number of Republicans supporting impeachment apparently doubled.
