Of course, who makes it from
scratch when the canned stuff
from Brazil is actually better.

I only eat corned beef about twice a year but I buy the Flat Cut and cook it myself.

I've cooked corned beef many times.
I like the canned stuff better, they
cook it for a living.

I'll have to check that out. Is it a national brand that you like?

Almost all canned corned beef
comes from Brazil.

Waiting for the surgery center to call and give me a show up time. I'm going in to have my throat stretched again, hopefully I can swallow more solid food.

One of the best things I make. Paper
thin cold roast pork, on eggplant
parmesan, topped with cheddar
and smoked paprika. A lettuce and
tomato salad with homemade
ranch dressing with roasted sesame
seeds. Way better than bottled dressing.

I swear I must be knocked up or something. I've been trying to limit myself to MoW and to things like celery stalks or Summer Squash or black beans. MoW has no drivers available today, so I've lapsed. Could have opted for celery or beans or that last squash, but instead seized upon some food-bank peanut butter and a can of food-bank cranberry sauce so I could have a ton of sugar instead of healthy stuff.

Processed PB is loaded with sugar.
Get the kind with oil at the top,
no sugar added.
