:(, indeed.

I've seen hundreds, perhaps thousands, of episodes of Jeopardy and it is largely Alex that made the show what it is. I'm happy to say I had the chance to see among his last shows when our own BBB was a contestant. It has long been a dream of my own to play on the show, but, to be honest, I'm just not smart enough.

RIP Alex.

Here is a link to a show early in Alex's career. He is the host of this Canadian show called 'Music Hop' and is the fellow in the dark clothes that saunters up to the mike and even sings a little. Hope I haven't ruined your admiration of him.

I like him even more now.

I just learned that James Randi died on October 20. He was a giant among skeptics, like me. He is most famous for offering $1,000,000 to anyone who could prove any kind of paranormal ability. The prize remains unclaimed.

RIP.

One of the greats
His advice to Johnny Carson when Uri Geller went on the show is classic.

RIP, one of my heroes.

I honestly did not even hear about this, it must have been buried under all of the news last month.

I'm surprized Randi made it this far.
Saw him a couple years ago in an
interview and he was super thin
and shrivelled up. He looked like
an old Hobbit. Uri Geller is shedding
no tears today. What a fraudulent
piece of work he was.. Every magician
in the world knew how he was doing
his 'trick', Randi was the only one
with guts enough to break the
magicians code and expose Geller.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Can you prove to me he died? I'm skeptical....
