Honestly he looked old for a long time. In the 1970s he looked like an old man, I almost never wanted to know his real age because it would take away from the mystery (obviously now I do). I think he just had one of those faces that always looked decades older than he really was (white hair and a beard did not help). Its hard to find pictures of him as a young adult to compare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3vGGf-ZIkc One of my favorite exposes of him was Peter Popoff in the 1980s (this clip covers both Geller and Popoff), who is sadly much more dangerous (mega church pastor that claims god speaks to him and has information about guests relayed to him via some kind of radio to make them even more venerable to donating). Sadly Popoff is still around and still vastly powerful, I guess gullible people will always be gullible. https://peterpopoff.org/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5EOo6TTnQ0 Other than suing Randi and a bunch of other people for libel in various countries and for using images suggesting of him (such as Nintendo for that one Psychic Pokemon that holds the spoons) , Geller is pretty harmless and basically has just made himself into a meme and occasional legal nuisance. |

I can't say I'll shed any tears over her death. My wife saw her at the Columbia Mall in Maryland in the late 90's. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Dang it. I think the news link popped up because there's a show about her currently on. Otherwise she died twice now. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Can't say I recognized the actor's name, but I will take on anybody in L&S trivia. It was one of my favorite TV shows of the late 70's/early 80's. I went to a taping of the episode where they move to LA. More info. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
