Cool map. Gee though, if we ever do get viral warfare with a really lethal pathogen, that animated map is pretty sobering. It's
spreading like a zombie apocalypse right out of the movies..

900 coronavirus deaths, 90 of them yesterday.

Meanwhile, in the United States, the 2029-2020 flu season has hospitalized 180,000 and killed 10,000.

Funny joke - advocating for the mass deaths of people you disagree with.

It’s amazing to me that the mods haven’t nuked you (and YB) yet...

And you.... YOU advocate for specific deaths!

Supposedly containment has been pretty effective...... 10,000 flu deaths this season in US and zero coronavirus deaths in US.
I'm leaving for Caribbean cruise Saturday. If I'm stuck in room for 14 days I'll catch up to Bob in number of posts.....

A cruise ship is a giant petri dish for
developing and spreading disease.
I wouldn't go if it was free, let alone
now. There's some cruise ship out
there right now that's been refused
entry in 5 ports because of disease.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I’m assuming that’s a reference to Rush. That’s just me enjoying the schadenfreude (and triggering certain snowflakes on here).

I used to love to do Caribbean cruises but now that I have been to all of the ports I don't enjoy it as much. My wife is not a fan of cruises because it is too structured for her. I try to relate to her that cruising is perfect to see new places and then if you like it you can always go back and stay there. One of my favorite ports on a cruise was St, Maarten, but once I found Orient Beach there we just go back every year and stay 10 days there. Next trip is in May.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.
