There are many instances where the police are not justified. Common sense

The real problem is lack of training for the police. Too Too many Barney Fifes out there. Most police officers have no idea what the law is. Check youtube and 1st amendment audits. A gazillion videos out there showing how clueless the police are regarding the Constitution and the law.

George Floyd was a much better cause for such a movement. Even given whatever case can be made for Floyd not acting in his best interest, ultimately he was still pinned down by the neck at the moment of death, without anyone doing any serious adjustment or health check.

Why do BLM supporters never bring up Tony Timpa or Jonathon Salcido.
The videos on these incidents are just as horrific as Floyd, just look them up and tell me this is a Black issue.
Selective outrage is why no one with a brain cares what BLM has to say.
Cops make mistakes as they did with Floyd, Timpa, Salcido & Tamir Rice
But it isn't a Black issue nor is it a White/Hispanic issue.
The movement should be named after a Police Training agenda and holding police accountable when they make mistakes.
Like what happened to Jason Van Dyke in Chicago.
But like every other profession out there, outlier events don't convict every individual in the profession.
Defund the police, what a joke. The correct answer is more money for training and getting rid of public employee unions.
But that doesn't fit The Squad's narrative.
You're naive if you think the BLM movement is focused on police reform or training
Or the value of Black Lives over/equal to other lives, whatever that means because as Ed says its common sense.
BLM is a socialist/marxist organization demanding equality of economic outcome by leveraging false police shooting narratives.
This is counter to the American Dream of equality of economic opportunity under the law.
The outcome is dependent on an individuals efforts when given equal opportunity under the law.
So get out there in the streets, spread that Covid because Socialism/Marxism will not be stopped by no Stinkin' Virus.
The defense of BLM's actions are another example of selective outrage for church & Trump Rally gatherings.
You either think people should be gathering in the 1000's with or without masks, or you think all gatherings are wrong.

Bottom line is if you support BLM, you support Socialism & Marxism over the current system of American Capitalism
If that is your perspective, so be it. But spare me the "I care about black lives, why does that outrage you?" BS

Depends on the society and times
Different societies have their marginalized minority that nobody cares about and their deaths go un-noticed due to hatred
Its the real world.
Here its Blacks
Viet Nam, its bi-racials.
In many Eastern European countries, its gypsies.
Germany in the 1930's, Jews.
Its just common sense to believe those lives matter
