This sort of thing eluded me till now even though I've been looking for it. Yes I've been calling it The Plague. http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/surveillance-and-investigation/novel-coronavirus/ I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

Based on their actions they DESERVE (as a company) to fail. They had a position of trust and totally betrayed it. In reality, I was wondering last night (reinforced after reading some of these posts), about their level of importance. They make the President's planes, for example. Are they "too important to fail"? |

Unless the virus plays out substantially differently in the USA than in Italy, this prediction is probably incorrect. Italy already has 2,503 deaths (and USA's population is 5 times bigger than Italy's.) New York City currently has 2,300 cases. The epicenter of Italy's outbreak is the province of Lombardy. Lombardy's population density is about 1,100 people per square mile. In Manhattan NYC, the population density is 70,000 people per square mile. I'm skeptical that social distancing will be effective in Manhattan. Perhaps it's time to close the NYC subway? |
