Covid light. For most of them it was like a bad cold for a week or so. Nephew lost his sense of smell for a couple months but it came back. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

The paper analyzed “whether mandatory mask use influenced the case fatality rate in Kansas” during the time period of August 1st, 2020 to October 15th. Kansas was used for comparison because the state allowed each of its 105 counties to decide whether or not to implement mask mandates, with 81 counties deciding against the measure. “The most important finding from this study is that contrary to the accepted thought that fewer people are dying because infection rates are reduced by masks, this was not the case,” summarized the paper." “Results from this study strongly suggest that mask mandates actually caused about 1.5 times the number of deaths or ~50% more deaths compared to no mask mandates.” "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." So quick to dis anything that doesn't fit your views. Here is the peer review process for 'Medicine' the journal that published the paper. "Peer Review Peer review is an essential part of Medicine®'s decision process. All original material presented in Medicine® undergoes rigorous multi-factorial single-blinded peer-review by carefully selecting dedicated and knowledgeable individuals who are experts in their field. During the review process one of Medicine®'s trusted Academic Editors are assigned the manuscript and takes responsibility for the review process. Academic Editors are asked to seek review from at least 2 external reviewers on any given manuscript. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |

You obviously don't know what an observational study is. I am not surprised. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |

I checked this on Google scholar. Literally only cited by 2. That means it's crap.

ams288 Member since: Apr 21, 2016 Threads: 29 Posts: 12422 | I was on a cruise last week and I finally got Covid. Started feeling a scratchy throat on the plane home yesterday. Took a test last night, negative. Mild cough today. Took another test. Positive. Very very mild symptoms thus far. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |
