On the road again with my RV
Heading North.
Taking it slow and easy.
This RV campground just a couple hours north of Tampa
Prices really dropping. Only staying 3 nights. Thats the recommended short stay for RV'ers
Full hookup with power, water , sewer , wifi, cable, pool for 48 bucks total. 16 bucks a nite. Bargain.
Emptied my hot water heater heater for the 1st time. I like to tow with a empty heater. Why carry the water. 6 gallons is heavy.
It was a real pain draining. There is a part kind of covering the drain. uggh. I get my wrench in there and move it just a bit, readjust the wrench, move a bit again, over and over. Its good for the heater to do this in case any kind of buildup of particles.
I try to empty everything before towing.
50 gallon water tank empty. I would only use this for boondocking and I wont be doing that anytime soon. I glamp with full hookups.
Empty grey water tank and black water tank.
I do throw a bunch of ice in the black water tank before towing. Helps break up any stuck remains that did not drain as the ice is shaken by the towing.

Plumb it so it's easier.

Do you have a pressure regulator for your water line?

Yes. Can you unscrew the difficult one and install an easy one?

Its not really too bad
The popup had an anode rod attached to the drain plug. That one was a real pan
Its plastic which I like. It turns fairly easy, just a pain to access.
Last one rusted on.

In 1959 Joihn Steinbeck hit the
road in his RV with his dog
to see the USA and meet it's
interesting people and write a
book about it. The book was
Travels With Charley and was
a huge hit, won a bunch of
awards.

Trouble was, as was found out
decades after Steinbeck died,
it was total fiction. After the
first month he was bored to
tears with traveling and was
meeting no interesting people
at all in the parks he stayed
at. So he started staying in fancy
hotels and eating in 3 star
restaurants and made the
book up. It's 95% fiction.

Turns out he was the most
interesting person in any
RV park he visited. Which
I totally believe.

Why would you expect to meet interesting people in an RV park? You might find "interesting" people but 90% will not be the kind of "interesting" you want to write about.

In a historically unique move, after Congress failed to reach a deal Trump said he would make a Stimulus package an executive order (a legally tricky subject).

He wants payroll tax cuts, eviction moratoriums, Student loan interest freezes and deferments, and a UI benefit extension. All via executive order.... He did not specify if he wants direct payments via executive order.

(Outside of War) This may be one of the most expensive executive order in history. If Obama did it he would be called a communist. But, lets see all the Trump fans praise it as prime leadership...

I personally think Trump is right, Congress failed to act so I have no problem with him attempting an executive order for relief, and I have long been a proponent of payroll tax cuts. I just want to point out the irony of all the Trump fans that will soon be praising him when he (without congressional approval) may make one of the most expensive and "socialists'" executive orders in history.

What he has done is turn the Democrat's tricks back on them. Usually they will refuse to act then let the media blame the Republican. Now, if they fight him they are fighting all they claim to want. And they get to tell their supporters they do not want student loan interest freezes, they want people evicted, and they want UI benefits to end for millions.

Let's see Pelosi get on the air and say all of that!
