Of course it is good for you, Ed! You are clearing more by not working than you were for working, correct?
From a policy perspective, does that make sense to you? Are you happy with your leaders who are that stupid to allow that? (Senate, House, and President?)
I'm not.

I am making more during my Carona furlough vacation then working
Doesn't make sense but I don't care
We as a country really cant afford this
That's why I push for a balanced budget so when the sh*t hits the fan, we can borrow
Future generations will pay for this. I'm 61. Oh well. Not falling on me. May retire, depends. Homeowner with a house too (I'm single and have 3BR) big and an IRA. May cash out on the house.

NYS system is not as smooth as Florida.
Wife filled out on line form around 10am on Friday. Was told she would receive a phone call within 72 hours. Not within 3 business days. Even so, we waited until greater than 120 hours had passed without a call back, then tried to call. There is NO OPTION to even wait for a human to pick up! Just told to apply on line. Theoretically you can log in to her account and send at least a written request.... NOPE! So at this point there is no electronic way to ask what's up? No phone way to find out what's going on?

Bah, that's nothing. My sister's story when she had to change her SS status. And this was before the pandemic.

She changed it and was told she could not even inquire about it further for 6 months because they wouldn't reply. Meanwhile she received nothing. Got all her back payments about 5 months later.

Are you “on the dole?”

Anyone notice how Shrek never posts anything personal about himself?

Does anyone here even know what he does for work, what his hobbies are, what part of the country he lives in, how old he is, etc.?

Seems like he’s just some anonymous ranter who comes here to post the word “libbies” 10,000 times a day and expects us to give a crap about his nonsensical tirades against those he disagrees with.

Of course. It's every Libbies goal to get paid for not working. Look how overjoyed some of them are here saying they are enjoying life, doing nothing and collecting all this free money. It's heaven for them they want it to go on forever.

I have been working more than ever since the outbreak for the same amount of money...

I would not have it any other way...

I am glad to be making a difference.

But, I don't have any negative feelings for people on UI, it's there for a reason.

But, this statement is also ironic coming for somebody who then other day bragged about not working for decades.....

That would not be me. I've never not had a job. I've been self-employed since the 80s and would still be working now if casinos were open. I play online a little but you can't win very much online or they won't let you play.

I am not sure being an AP since the 80s counts as work.

I didn't start that till 12 years ago.
You sure get a lot wrong and jump
to a lot of conclusions. In the early
80's I owned a bar, in the mid 80's
I had a taxi company.
