This is the Honda you should have had, Face.
I don't think I've seen Leno have as much fun
in a car as he has in this Honda.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Lol, open top, RWD, a likely too-short wheelbase, non-original motor (and gears. Tires. Suspension. Drivetrain. Brakes). I could work for the next 5 years and not make that thing legal for my class.

But it does look wicked fun. This type of stuff is right up my alley. Though my ultimate dream car and ultimate race car all big American iron, my ultimate racing experience is just about exactly this. Something like Mosca did taking his Miata to the Pocono southern loop. Like 1980 BTTC racing. Street cars, tweaked up, crazy performance differentials (a Z28 among Mini Coopers, with Ford Falcons, Cosworth Escorts, etc peppered in), all on iconic road courses. Now THAT'S the ticket.

I wish I hadn't blown my best decade being a junkie. I'd love to take a whack at SCCA.

Fixed your link, cuz I totally dig it.

Though perhaps hard to believe (/sarcasm), I tried to do this. Not big wheels, but what basically amounted to extreme soapbox derby. Soapbox type contraptions, but on a similarly long and twisty road. Would you believe it, no one would join me!

Bunch of wet blankets, I tell ya. My only hope lies in befriending a bunch of 14yr olds, and I'm not entirely sure that's not against the law =/

It looks like an interesting contraption for downhill racing -- you get speed, maneuvering and sliding action. Plus you're low to the ground.

Well, it was until the Porsches came through =p I can't think of a single six banger I haven't outright hated, forget even tolerating. They just sound so... pedestrian.

On the other hand, that SLR nearly made me climax. Too bad for the terrible gear box neutering its awesome.

What is it about the sound of motors you car guys like? I really don't get it. Give me a perfectly silent car and I would be thrilled.

The new Tesla can make 762 HP and is quiet. Why wouldn't you rather have a silent killer?
