In New Mexico El Paso TV market Have not seen a Trump ad Lots of ads for local races I have seen the Biden ad with Obama speaking playing here Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

That's because NM is a blue state. Till now. Looks like Biden saying he will end the oil and gas industry at the debate has sent the state into panic. NM gets 40% of it's income from gas and oil and Biden's taking it away? He can't say he never said it, it was on all the networks. They're saying NM just might go red this time. I wrote about this in another thread. It's not that he forgot, it's that for a few seconds he was confused and thought Bush was still president. This is what dementia does, and the confusion gets worse and worse. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Has to be: 1. They think they're winning. and Biden is taking time off to write his acceptance speech and rest up for the big night. 2. Their internal polls say it's a waste of time and putting Joe out there every day would be elder abuse. 3. The most likely reason is Joe is not holding up well. He looks old and feeble and is a gaff machine. And he doesn't want the constant questions about Huntergate. Has this ever happened in history? A candidate basically drops out of the race and hides a week before the election? It's a stunning turn of events, but not really surprising. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
