Welcome back.

The Top 5 Panama Mountain Towns for Expats

A lot of people choose Panama because it is too far south for hurricanes, they use the USD, and the mountain towns (usually 4000' elevation) are still warm, but not so buggy and humid. There is also good jet connections to multiple airports in the USA.

You won't like sweating to death
any better than the cold.

I would. I would rather be in 120 degree heat than 50 degrees. It is not even close for me.

You can have all three. I was in AZ for 3 winters, .

AZ in summer is the face of
the sun. Get a mobile home
in FL and live there in the
winter. Lots of people do.

It's uncommon here to, but we've had 70's for the last week, hard to tell when the wind is blowing, which it usually does in the desert. Especially this close to the lake, we get that onshore effect.

It was 74 degrees in Vegas today and I was cold because there was about a 15mph wind. We tried to have a picnic in the park but had to leave because of the cold.

In Vegas, it's not just the wind, it's the dust that it blows.

I've said many times I wouldn't live
in Vegas if it was free. Too ugly
and depressing, too hot in summer.
It's a giant strip mall with brown
as the background color.
