Belize, Panama, Philippines, Chile, US Virgin Islands, Vietnam, Thailand. Sounds like AOC’s District. Move there, and you get all seven without ever leaving your apartment building.

What? Among the Bridge and Tunnel crowd?

His videos are as professional as
anything a network does.

Yep, Youtubers are putting out better content than network TV these days.

I just got rid of Netflix because I watch YouTube far more. Some of the political stuff there will migrate to library as YT censors stuff they do not like.

Ah, that's very true. I love Youtube except when it comes to politics. They love to censor conservatives while promoting crap like BLM and the gay agenda. 🙄

Big gamblers, as big as China.

Video says it is like the Bahamas where locals cannot enter. Though in Bahamas I saw nobody enforcing that. it showed in Vitenam you have to show your passport to enter.

Not surprised but did not know in 1980 Vietnam was the poorest nation on earth.

Have you seen this series on Amazon? Adventures on a Narrowboat, about a guy that is living aboard and travelling the canals in the UK. We put it on in the background now sometimes as we have watched all but the latest season. https://www.amazon.com/Travels-by-Narrowboat/dp/B07NXQG5HB Pretty cheap living, interesting scenery, fairly safe travelling, all the comforts of 1st world expating.

PORTUGAL!

Benefits are weather, kind of a SoCal weather without all the smog. One advantage over all the Caribbean is that it is part of a continent rather than an island. If you like a long drive an island might get old. Prices look cheap. Kind of as if you make enough money to live in a better neighborhood but choose a basic one so you can get the extras in life.

Nice place. Costs about $2K a
month for one person to live
modestly. Just as depressing
as any other place in the
winter. Sun goes down early
and it's in the 50's and rains
a lot. Believe me, 50's is cold
after you've lived there awhile.

Ever look at Paraguay? The Nazi's
loved it.
