Been day trading peanuts for fun
Yesterday I bought GME at 119, waited till it went to 129 bucks and got out.
Back into GME today at 97.00
Hopefully it will go up to around 107 and I'll get out

Coinbase going nuts
Up 375.00 on my 1k dip
My portfolio is incredibly healthy due to the stock market
Stocks doing so well, would not surprise me if we get a small downward correction today.
It's crazy. At this rate, Dow may see 50k by the end of Bidens Presidency.
My 1st SSA check comes in tomorrow. Yippee
Can easily survive without it but every bit helps. A big chunk of that covering my Cobra payments. With a virus going around, I want to continue the good health insurance I got from my old employer, American Express.
If that 1400 stimulus comes through, icing on the cake.

How long will your Cobra continue? Have you priced out what you will paying for insurance once the Cobra stops?

Cobra is very expensive but the Health Policy American Express has with Aetna is a quality policy
I was shocked how expensive it is. I'm under the impression its the same policy as employees but not subsidized by the company.
With this virus, its important to have good insurance
I think I am eligible for Cobra till 65 when I can go on medicare

You would be eligible only because AMEX offers that benefit for ex employees. Pretty sure the law only requires 18 months. If I recall, COBRA can be 105% of the cost to the employer, the extra 5% the employer can keep to offset administrative expenses. I am sort of on ‘permanent COBRA’ as negotiated in my last contract. I pay 25% of the cost, the ex employer 75%. Your costs will go way down once you are Medicare eligible.

I thought Cobra was only for a year. Maybe different companies have different negotiated terms. My company never even offered Cobra when they layed people off. I know legally at least in Nevada it is required. I was considering not getting my own insurance and then suing the company when I get ill. Pretty sure I would win that but I don't want to sue my former company as they always treated me well.

It is costing me about $750 a month just to be added to my wife's insurance policy.
