I'm in Phoenix for another week and a half. Thinking of going back down to Tucson for a couple of weeks. After that what caught my eye is a huge meteor crater in NE Arizona with a museum. May head up there after Tucson.
What museum in Boseman? I'm huge on museums.
After living in a bunch of cities throughout the Southeast and Southwest. I may have left paradise in Tampa. In fact when RVers see my license plates, they say I'm going in the wrong direction. I have to admit, wintering in Florida a tropical paradise is better then wintering in the desert. Regardless, still thrilled living the dream travelling around the USA. Was a huge fan of Charles Kuralt and his on the road reports and now living the life.

My wife grew up in Montana and did some dinosaur excavation as a teenager. She has a special place in her heart for https://museumoftherockies.org/

Other than the weather and random suggestions what else are using as a source for tourist visits to a specific location (museum, exhibits, scenic areas, etc.,)

Sedona is weird
So many businesses have mystical experts to do "readings"
Also its reported that their are energy vortexes in different areas around town and maps and tours are sold
WTF
On the reality side, its a beautiful town with breathtaking scenery surrounding the town
A bit too touristy trap as tons of businesses catering to tourists in a pretty modern section of town
I do like the art galleries

Make sure that you go to the only McDonald's in America with blue arches instead of yellow.

I stopped at a gas station
It's a long row of 3 pumps
I'm towing my trailer
I pull up to the 1st pump to fill
Normally I would pull all the way through to the last pump. But there were plastic bags tied on the last 2 diesel handle pumps. Did not know if gas worked or just diesel did not work.
So I fill up at the 1st pump.
Done get in my car to take off
A redneck in a raggedy pickup backs into the middle pump blocking me. I figure I will wait for him to fill up
But no
After he gets out of truck, he walks away to smoke
WTF
I back out which ain't easy with a trailer. Dont have a lot of room to maneuver but I get it done

So how do you know he was a redneck? You drive a pickup. You are in California now odds would say he was a democrat. I guess you were just racially profiling.

Same thing for me regarding rednecks

I think a real redneck would have smoked while he was pumping gas.

LOL

I visited Slab city today
The last free city in the country
Its a old military base dismantled in the 50's
Hence all the concrete slabs all over the place
Summer maybe a few hundred, winter thousands
no infrastructure
Just people living freely in different communities with their own rules
Nirvana to some, a ghetto to others.
Pretty fascinating
I visited the artist community in East Jesus
A junkyard turned into an outdoor art museum
It as great

I've seen some shows about Slab city. Where does all the poop for thousands of folks go?

You didn't take your rv there, because of no hook ups iinm.
