Any thoughts on monitoring kids use? "Parents who bought their children the Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas could be in for a surprise as there have been several instances of child grooming within one of the virtual reality headset's most popular chatroom services VRChat. "

I never go into VR chat
I checked it out.
Its dumb and full of immature clowns
I do enjoy PokerStars VR a lot
It's fun and there is that poker chatter
No real money of course but you would be surprised how well some play.
The cash games are absurd , bunch of kids going all in.
1 table tournaments going on constantly and quite fun.
I play those.

If I was a parent and had a child with an oculus.
My concern would be porn.
Hard core and it don't get much more real unless you were there
Web browser is built into the oculus
Free porn sites with free VR
So easy, a caveman could do it
Surprised Tyler did not write about this. Lol. Maybe not so surprised

I have a solar panel on top of my RV that attached to my RV battery
Pretty neat
I can monitor it via an app on my phone
Still learning about this.

I'm feeling lazy; what is an Oculus Quest?

That is very good. I love solar power. There are lots of great applications for it. We use it on a small scale at the ranch for running water pumps, game cameras, and game feeders.

Having it as an alternative is great.

You should try one.

Virtual Reality goggles. Maybe Terapined will agree but describing the experience really doesn't convey the experience.

But OTOH, you might decide you have no significant use for it.

You could watch a youtube video on it, but that doesn't do it either.

I might look at the video on it, but it sounds like something I'm way too old for.

From a realistic usage aspect, you could make yourself, probably 95% skilled on being a pilot of any kind of plane without ever even flying one. Many jobs as well.

A few years back, there was a guy who got his driving skills in open cart (Indy style racing) that he was able to put in completive laps with professional drivers on an actual track.

I have a cheap deep discharge lead rv battery attached to my solar panel. (Different then a car battery where deep discharge bad.)
If I boondock (no hookup). I would use the battery for the water pump to take a hot shower and the furnace fan and lights.
Nothing major like a TV
But tech has come far
A neighbor had a portable high tech solar panels attached to a lithium battery.
He says he can watch TV all night on that setup.
He said that setup runs about 600 bucks.

My secretary paid a lot of money to have a solar panel array put on the roof of her house.

Silly girl.
