RV life with Terapined

I grew up in a little city called Lorain in Ohio. They built ships there for the great lakes. I have toured many of them and have a vague mempryy of the Roger Blough being built and then it caught on fire in the shipyard in Lorain. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

The Roger Blough was one of the search ships used looking for the Edmund Fitzgerald. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I was fascinated to learn that many ships, and many of these were huge ships, have gone down never to be seen ever again Disappeared Many have been searched for and never found These are huge ships Amazing Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I am not familiar with that ship. Is that an iron ore carrier? At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

That's my assumption since that was the number 1 cargo on the lakes. There is a pic of the deck filled with cars. Probably multi purpose Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I guess that would make sense if it does the Detroit route too. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

That's a big ship built in the 1970s A lot longer 858 feet then the Schoonmaker at 617 feet Schoonmaker built in 1911 and was the largest cargo ship built at that time. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |
