David Souter retired at age 70 and Clarence Thomas is age 72, so I would say there is a chance. However I would consider it a very minor chance. |

No way Thomas retires His wife is hardcore right winger. It kind of bothers me because he's supposed to be impartial yet his wife is very involved in right wing politics. She's a huge huge huge Trumper. No way his wife allows him to retire and give up that power she loves. She's 63. He's 72. He'll die a justice. I hope I never meet them. I always want to meet powerful people, or even just interesting people, even if I totally disagree with their politics. Lunch with Bernie Sanders... I’d love to pick his brain over corned beef sandwiches. Carnitas with AOC? Sign me up! Part of what I do politically is lobby those who I know are generally against what I am there for. Talking with someone who believes everything I do is boring. |
