You'd have to be the one to remember because I certainly don't. Please let me know, if so. I don't know that the two of us have ever directly bet on anything recently. I think there may have been a $2 bet once, but I believe that has been resolved.

Anyway, I think he would be the FAVORITE assuming that he wanted to run for the Republican Nomination. I guess that's the part I'd have to think about. I'm going to decline even money at this time if death is not a push. Also, probably pragmatic to see if he wins/loses this year in the first place.

He would not run in 2024. That has succeeded only once in history. By then new faces will have emerged.

I think Trump is too old as well..... but I can't exactly say why, but I think re-election is slightly different than initial election. Example was Reagan, who had 'good people' in important places who covered for his growing cognitive decline during his second term.

As I've said multiple times.... I was against most of Obama's policies, but i think he was the right age to be President, with enough life experience but not 'over the hill' yet.

2024 we see Harris versus Haley. Can't wait!

Without putting a hard cap on age, I think Biden and trump are both too old. It is more about their apparent health than their age, thought, which is why I wouldn't necessarily suggest a number for an age cap. There are jobs have them, though.

I am trying to think how many times the same two candidates ran against each other in back to back elections
Grover Cleveland (Democratic) and Benjamin Harrison (Republican) 1888-1892 - candidates won 1 race apiece
Dwight D. Eisenhower (Republican) and Adlai Stevenson (Democratic) 1952-1956 - Eisenhower won both races

After Grant served his second term the following five elections were very close in popular vote
1876 Republican beat Democratic 47.9% - 50.9% while losing popular vote
1880 Republican beat Democratic 48.32% - 48.21%
1884 Grover Cleveland (Democratic) beat James G. Blaine (Republican) | Evote 219 - 182 | States 20- 18 | 48.85% - 48.28%
1888 Benjamin Harrison (Republican) beat Grover Cleveland (Democratic) | Evote 233 - 168 | States 20 - 18 | 47.8% - 48.6%
1892 Grover Cleveland (Democratic) beat Benjamin Harrison (Republican) | Evote 277-145-22 | States 23 -16 -5 46.0% - 43.0% - 8.5%

A strong 3rd party candidate in 1892 probably made the difference

If Harris becomes POTUS (obviously without knowing if she will be nominated) do you think Trump would run again in 2024?

Yes, I think his ego is limitless. Now whether people will accept him is another story.

Nah, SCAMala Harris got her ass kicked in the primaries. 😂

I bet Bernie would run again, and I bet the libbies would be dumb enough to nominate him. 🤣🤣

Nikki Haley would be a formidable general election candidate.

But she would NEVER come out of a GOP primary on top.

NEVER.

There is no doubt his base would support him regardless of his condition. Its enough to dominate the republican party.

If DEMocRATS steal this election, it would be AWESOME if Trump ran again in 2024!!

That would show the world that Good (i.e., conservatives) always wins over Evil (i.e., libbies). 👍👍

Fingers crossed!

(In regards time him running again. Dems aren’t stealing anything, that’s just rightie nonsense to explain away Donny’s unpopularity).

Why do you think that? I think they could coalesce behind a candidate that does not represent all their views that could win... Oh wait, they did that in 2016!!!

Because she’s not crazy enough. She’s more of a “moderate” republican. Not the kind of candidate that GOP primary voters go for.
