Doesn't matter. If the results aren't certified (because of voter fraud), then either the state legislature appoints the electors OR the US House votes for president [if Creepy Joe doesn't make it to 270]. In either case, Trump WINS.

I normally don't read this kind of nonsense, but I have seen this around, and the title stood out to me:

Utter nonsense. Having a stronger democracy (when it comes to electing Pressients) in no way would undermine the power of the United States. But, this appears to be one of those sites that is so extreme, it's hard to tell if its satire or not (similar to certain people on here).... (and yes I am aware USA is a Republic, not a Democracy, that does not mean democracy should not be encouraged for certain public elections)....

I have long said, it will be unlikely for a Republican to ever win the popular vote again, so having a popular vote based Presidential election, would make the country lean more left in an even more powerful and inspired way.

And, honestly with more states turning blue and purple, it will be hard for Republicans to win the EC (as we have seen even against an incumbent, which many people don't realize are much more difficult to defeat).

Well, Michael Moore is used as a scapegoat by the right to represent all Dems.

That being said, abolishing the EC is not the worst idea ever. It would move the country left faster.
