I think Canadians have vision we are already operating the first electric sea plane on scheduled commuter flights between Vancouver and Victoria. The company plans on converting all its planes to electric. That doesn't change the fact that I don't believe that large commercial jets will be electrical on battery technology, maybe nuclear. The bottom line is that promoting more travel is not the way to help solve pollution and no way of producing electricity is carbon neutral. Yesterday Ron Johnson forced the Senate clerks to read the entire bill aloud. It took 10+ hours. But they just made a big tactical error.

The examples of the non-COVID related parts of this bill are striking. The Democrats would have noses that make Pinocchio's look like a button for calling this a COVID relief bill........ But it will pass..... and on to the next multi trillion (infrastructure!) bill that we have to invent more money to pay for..... the Biden plan.... |

Something republicans in congress are against because it's a Biden plan. Republicans in congress would be all for it if it was a Trump plan. This is THE BIG LIE! The majority of Americans are doing just fine. And those that are 'hurting' were hurting before the pandemic. There are many Americans hurting specifically due to the pandemic, but to use the word majority is just ridiculous! Apparently unemployment is now 6.2%. The other 93.8% are de facto having it BETTER (financially). Interest rates very low. Energy costs low. Travel down, and if you are travelling airfare low, hotel costs low. Less eating out. Lets not forget the stupid free money the government already sent out. |

Absolutely. The American people have chosen a path, and for the next two years at least, it will be spend as much as possible, while blaming every one else for the 'need' to do so. Maybe Joe Manchin, who was elected, will be able to put a brake on some of it, but likely not much. |
