I wonder what Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's wedding would have cost after adjusting for inflation?
The same article puts the Charles and Diana wedding at $70 million adjusted for inflation.

With state weddings security is always difficult to estimate. I am sure that explains the difference between $70 million and $110 million estimates for the same wedding.

But royals don't normally have to rent a hall. They just use the official church. As the head of the Anglican church, the Queen doesn't have to tip the archbishop performing the ceremony.

Queen Elizabeth II made a personal donation £40,000 to her own palace in Scotland (to make up for lost tourist revenue because it was closed) when her oldest granddaughter Zara Phillips was getting married.
