But No way I'm a vegetarian I cook a lot and am very proud of my cooking skills I make a killer Chinese brown sauce My spaghetti sauce ain't too shabby either I'm like at the grocery store every other day Thinking of salmon tonight I find everything I need in the local grocery store Personally I see no supply issues regarding food Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

My most recent supermarket trip they were out of frozen spinach. Somehow a ‘kale and artichoke dip’ just doesn’t have the same ring to it. Also no diet peach Snapple in the big bottles. Had to use the half lemonade half tea version. (First world problems). |

Yes, I do all the shopping. Your post lists no specific shortages you are seeing. I’m suspicious. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

don't get me started on that! shortages around here: *milk in the variety we are used to ; you may get want you want in gallons, or not, but we then throw out what's spoiled *canned beans are often out except a few varieties *cereal bars [brand and variety thing] *rice [varieties thing] *club soda [varieties thing] *not from frozen, in the cooler, grapefruit juice... recently, no grapefruit juice at all [ticks me off] *coffee [brand and variety thing] taking that last as an example, I'm picky. I want a brand of French Roast which I'm convinced can be labeled "smooth bold/dark" instead and it's the same thing. Both varieties may be missing at any time. Now if you are someone who is totally flexible, even on something like coffee, I guess you never have a problem . And if a govt. agent is sent into the stores, sees that some things are sold out, but that the shelves are not totally empty, you'd report back to your Commissar that the situation is fine, we are not out of coffee, just some whiners out there I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |
