It's not like I or any others south of you care as much about Canadian politics as you do American. |

It's not like I or any others south of you care as much about Canadian politics as you do American.[/] Canada and the US are both siblings of Britain. One was rebellious and left home at a young age and didn't make up with its parent for years. The other was not as rash and left home on good terms and still honours its mother. Since we share a very large chunk of the world what happens in one has an effect in the other. The water you need to survive flows from Canada. The military power that keeps Russia from coming across our Northern border comes from the US. The politics in the US has a large influence on Canadian politics since we watch more US media then our own. Even our own news channels mirror the MSM in the US, we don't have an effective right wing news source in Canada. The further the US slides off the flat earth into the abyss on the left side the more likely it is to pull Canada over the age with it. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Would you for example pick a reactionary country that most closely mirrors your views?
Me, being a Libertarian, I'd opt for New Zealand. |

I don't consider myself an arch-conservative at all. If you think that simply because I call to task many of the lies promoted by the left that probably says more about your politics than mine. I could live in any country in the world as an expat if I wanted. I am retired and have enough pension to live on but continue to work because I enjoy working. I chose to live in Canada and expect to die in the small town I live in now. I have travelled enough that I don't have a travel itch to scratch. Go to a town with a real casino a few times a year and I am happy. It is quite nice to be content, happy and not chasing some golden ring or bucket list. Does it upset you to have to constantly defend Donald Trump, the human being who lies more than just about anyone else on earth? “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I only defend the stuff he didn't lie about. Unlike those that confuse the 2. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |

It takes work and research it is never a good idea to assume anyone or any source is telling the truth or lying 100% of the time. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |
