If DeSantis was allowed to run against whoever the Dems run (Biden, Harris, Buttigieg, Booker, etc..) the populace would be able to decide if, in the ‘battleground states’, more wanted a conventional Republican like DeSantis or a Democrat alternative. I think DeSantis, with all his flaws, would be able to win. However, if Trump attacks DeSantis then the governor stands no chance. If Trump decides to support DeSantis I think he wins easily. I’d put my money on Trump being vindictive and not supporting a candidate that beats him in a primary. I am holding out faint hope that Trump either chooses not to run, or is legally prevented from running, or is not healthy enough or worse. |

I agree, but would have just worded it as "I hope doesn't run." At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Oh he's running Been running and is presently running Just no announcement yet but that's kind of moot because he definitely on the campaign trail holding rally after rally. He's doing all he can to help the Dems Take Herschel Walker and Dr Oz The worst senate candidates in the history of the country regardless of party Oz is a snake oil salesman that doesn't even live in PA Walker probably been brain damaged by CTE. Sadly, I think most constituents would be classified as turds so they are just voting for one of their own. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
