On Oct 23, 1998 Roberto Benigni's film, "La vita è bella" (Life is beautiful) opened to worldwide acclaim, an Oscar win and $361.8 million in worldwide boxoffice on a $20 million budget.

On December 25th, 2002 his ambitious film Pinocchio ($45 million budget) opened to disastrous box ofice ($3,681,811 domestic and $28,000,000 international). Many Americans found the film "creepy".

This Christmas he is trying to do it again, only now he is playing Geppetto.

Nomadland vs Netflix.

Nomadland will win.
It's so timely
Although it takes place during the last recession, it really speaks to today's problems. As the rent moratorium expires, millions more may become nomads. Houseless but not homeless.
Many critics have said this is the best movie they have seen this year. Already won awards at multiple film festivals.
Moving to Quartzite next month to check out all the nomads. They camp all over the BLM lands around Quartzite AZ in the winter. They generally boondock. I'll have a full hook up. Looking forward to moving south for warmer weather
