Dominos has over 6000 locations in the US, and they are buying 855 Chevy Bolts with the custom pain job. |

Perhaps not having to use their own car still appeals to people who drive for them. Plus some drivers who don't own a car at all are going to apply there. It likely depends on location volume. It would take a lot of volume to make a company vehicle pay off.
Again, volume. Having managed a fleet I can promise them that the costs will add up. Maintenance will be a huge thing, costs and downtime. If they need 3 cars every day they had better have 4 in the fleet. Drivers will be paid less, so might be harder to come by. The President is a fink. |

I perceive this vehicles almost as much an advertisement for Chevy Bolt as for Dominos. Bolt's are pominently displayed all over the cars. Perhaps they are getting some help with maintenance from General Motors. ~ half he new car sales in California are from the four leading automakers. 19.5% Toyota + Lexus 10.9% Tesla 10.4% General Motors 8.3% Ford + Lincoln In California 30% of new vehicle sales are "electrified" in some way, either BEV, HEV, FCEV, or PHEV. If GM is going to take back the lead over Tesla in Califonia, it will probably be through massive sales volume of BEVs. Right now 69% of BEV sales in California are Teslas. The Chevy Bolt is not ground breaking technology, but it is inexpensive with the $7500 tax credit. It's 259 mile EPA range is much more attractive than Nissan LEAF's basic 149 mile range. The Nissan LEAF SV PLUS models have a range of up to 212 miles but i is more expensive than the Bolt. |
