Maybe he has that on his car but a vanity plate for the popemobile? The President is a fink. |

Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | Wow, that ordinary Vatican plate just sold for $1,924.99. It would not surprise me more of them turn up on eBay soon, of questionable legitimate ownership. Father, how many extra years in purgatory would I have to serve for buying, unknowingly, a hot license plate from the world's smallest country? Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

That's covered in the motor vehicle section of the NT. Jesus drove a Mercedes, there were no Jewish cars.. Or at least he will when he comes back. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Never saw that part. Did see that God the Father drove a Plymouth, though. The President is a fink. |

My old man drove used Caddies in the 50's. You could get them pretty cheap if they were a few years old. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | This is getting way off topic but I grew up in the LA area and a very popular televangelist in the area was Fredrick Price. Almost every time I caught him flipping through the channels he was preaching that it was glorious to be rich and a gift from god. This is contrary to most Christian teachers, who say that it is more blessed to be poor and wealth tempts people to turn their backs on god. Anyway, Price used the argument that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and those were a status symbol at the time. Like a Rolls Royce. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | Getting back to license plates, here is another one going for way more than I would have thought: 1914 Arkansas. I admit Arkansas plates are not my emphasis but I am shocked such a rusty and corroded plate is going for this high. Then again a 1910 Maryland in that condition would go for at least that much, probably. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | Can someone please explain to me what person would even consider paying $100,000 for this license plate? This is why I usually put in the filter that there must be at least one bid, so I don't waste my time looking at "auctions" like this one: LICENSE PLATE LOT MAN CAVE BAR AUTHENTIC ISSUE REAL NEVADA WALL ART NEEDRUM Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
