Lots of watchers, you don't have a chance.
This collection would set a newbie up pretty
good.

Yup. It would take years and lots of money to do a 32 run from scratch. Anyone born in 1932 would be turning 86 this year, so probably not many looking to start a birth year run. My mother was born in 1933, but she would get angry at me if I got it for her. Like the owner, she is also trying to downsize.

My prediction is that it will close around 6K.

14 hours to go and we're at $1,902.77. I think I have a decent shot at it.

Good hunting Wizard!

If you max bid is high enough, do your sniper bids automatically go up until the reserve is met?

1 hour to go, my guess is
$4100.

I was off by $212. I was watching that
time and as soon as the auction was
over, it disappeared from the page.

The good news is I was the high bidder at $3,888.00. My maximum was $4,444.

The bad news is the reserve was not met. I can't stand sellers who put unreasonable reserves on their crap. No way he is going to easily get much more than what it closed for.

Ebay is supposed to be a damn auction site!

That same 1932 run is back up for auction, this time with no reserve. I knew he wouldn't find a better price off of Ebay. Let's see what happens this time. He said he got a $5,000 offer, but I'm skeptical it goes for much more than last time. He should have taken it, given that it closed for $3,888, thanks to me.
