Who cares? He was just slinging poop...the moderators can decide who crosses the line. I know some that seem to report things right away if their feelings get hurt, but who cares? No one here, besides Face (and I guess he has gone) did anything for me or because of me...I helped him earn some cash on a side gig and he thanked me for it, and I don't personally know anyone. |

That was hilarious, I actually laughed out loud in several spots. Let's go Brandon, may It never fade Away.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

"Brandon barely knows where he's going most of the time." These are the best things in the world, and it doesn't even matter what the subject is. The Tom Brady winning a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers (probably bias on my part) one was better...but they're all home runs. By the way, what was the first parody that involved this clip? Does anyone know? "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

Gandler Member since: Aug 15, 2019 Threads: 27 Posts: 4236 | https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/13/us-will-not-punish-military-over-afghanistan-drone-killing-of-civilians.html https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/13/us/politics/afghanistan-drone-strike.html https://theweek.com/world/1008034/no-us-troops-will-be-punished-for-botched-afghanistan-drone-strike-pentagon-rules So it seems like the outrage of the day is that nobody will be held responsible for a drone strike that killed an aid worker and civilians. I mean what do they want to happen? If anything the chaotic withdrawal caused the strike (which forced a quick decision on a vehicle though to be taking explosives to the airport during the height of evacuations, -that is grossly simplified- ), though that is not as popular to blame. Though it also points to a huge disconnect, you don't see aid workers on the grounds in Afghanistan demanding compensation and investigations from the Taliban for the (far more and far more routinely) killed by them. This is for obvious reasons, but is worth pointing out. When America makes a mistake in Afghanistan it gets hyper focused on, when the Taliban conduct routine killings and executions every hour, nobody notices... https://thehill.com/policy/international/585561-taliban-hoping-us-will-slowly-slowly-change-its-policy-toward Though in other news, the Taliban is furious that they are not recognized as the legitimate government, though it seems that they are mostly upset that their funds are locked during winter. |

Gandler Member since: Aug 15, 2019 Threads: 27 Posts: 4236 | So two pretty critical updates in the last several days regarding Afghanistan, The U.S. Army released a report saying that the withdraw was not optimal (that is a nice way to word a 2K page report of the flaws), and Biden is unfreezing funding to allow "humanitarian aid" to Afghanistan. https://nypost.com/2022/02/11/biden-to-split-frozen-afghan-funds-for-9-11-victims-relief/ https://nypost.com/2022/02/08/army-probe-finds-biden-admin-held-off-on-afghan-pullout-plan-report/ https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/593822-biden-says-he-rejects-findings-of-army-report-on-afghanistan Biden of course is rejecting the report, essentially saying (paraphrasing) that there would never be an optimal way or time to pull out of Afghanistan, and that the report is biased. And, is trying to justify the unfreezing of the funding by allocating some to 9/11 victims. Biden is insisting that none of the funds will assist the Taliban, but of course that is surface level untrue as they control the country, so funding anything in the county frees up their resources for other activities. These are two legitimate criticisms that can be made against Biden (and extremely damning criticisms). |
