Mocking jcw’s bitter rants?

I think last month's billing was more than you'll make this year.
But really, you're the smart one. LMAO.

Yet you have no intelligent response.
Way to represent that "I have a Master's Degree", so I must be intelligent fairy tale.
At least make something up, at least you're good at that.

A Master's Degree makes someone smart? How?

Then I guess you are the living proof that money cannot buy happiness. How sad.

That's the classic "low achiever" line, too funny!

I’m lazy AF. I work 8-10 hours a week. I’d consider myself a “low achiever.”

Is that supposed to be insulting? lol

Not an insult, in fact, it's super attractive, all the college boys love that type of 32 year old.

I'll take that bet. You win if the US federal government does not not honor Social Security payments or bond payments. Otherwise, I do.

Please note that the government can miss paychecks for federal workers and anything else that has happened in previous shutdowns.

Mike, and Mission......
I understand that there is a distinction between a government shutdown where federal salaries get deferred and federal entities shut their doors and a full fledged Debt Default. I also understand that shutdowns happen all the time, but that the US defaulting on its debts has never happened (Came close in 2008).

It seems that the ceiling is a bit elastic and that the admin/treasury might attempt to postpone some payments 'to itself' for a while. If there's a 'never before' event there, that would strike me as Default for the first time ever. It might be failure to pay interest on bonds that are actually held by the treasury itself, giving preference to bonds held by other nations or entities. Further, I expect that the administration might execute extraordinary measures to kick either can down the road. Do I understand more or less correctly?

It's tricky for me to define what will constitute the technical default that will be a first ever event where Something happens that has never happened in a previous US government shutdown.

Would you guys each care to take a $10 even money wager* that an assortment of Mainstream media don't call it with a headline close to 'US in Default' ... for first time ever. I'm thinking a selection of WSJ, UK FT, UK BBC, Reuters as the arbiters of whether technical default has happened.... By say 00:00 11/01/21 GMT

For Clarity, I'm wagering that they will!

I'm talking technical default of a kind that is exceptional in a significant way. The sort of way that Moody's might act on to reduce US bond ratings.
