You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I just read that William Christopher died (6 years ago). One of my favorite MASH characters.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

Amazing how some minor stars die and it never makes big news. Vera from "Alice" died and her family intentionally did not make any kind of press release, kept it quiet.

Like Klinger, he built a minor role to a major one on that show. That takes some acting skill.

I just read something about him lately. He was a last minute replacement for someone and had not even seen a script. He showed up blind and didn't know why there were women's clothes in his dressing room. He said he just showed up to make the $200 for the day of work. He needed the money.

I'm sure he had to be in other shows, but I don't remember a single one. I do know he was on some of the game shows just being a parody of himself.

He says they wanted the character to be flaming gay but he convinced them it needed to be a street tough guy who just wore dresses. Was going to be a one shot gag but it kept going.

Probably a good move. Were there any flaming gay characters on TV in the early 1970's? I don't even remember any subtle gay characters back then.
