Pennsylvania is the largest exporter of electricity in the nation. They build natural gas plants strictly to generate electricity to export.
California is the largest importer of electricity in the nation. I think they have only opened two natural gas plants (both in San Diego county) since 2013.

The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) is a permanently closed nuclear power plant located south of San Clemente, California, on the Pacific coast, in Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region IV. The plant was shut down in 2013 after replacement steam generators failed; it is currently in the process of decommissioning. The 2.2 GW of electricity supply lost when the plant shut down was replaced with 1.8 GW of new natural-gas fired power plants and 250 MW of energy storage projects.

I had no idea that Ohio imported that much electricity. Is Davis-Besse still operating in Ohio?

With Dems not winning a single Senate "toss up" race,
When Governors in WI, NV & Oregon are flipping.
The GOP having real shots in MI & MN Governor races.
You know Hochul isn't even liking her position post that debate performance.
How many House Seats flip? 30, 35 more than 40?
Should be an interesting next 12 days. Tick Tock

You said you wouldn’t come back till I hit 10,500 posts.

Guess that was a LIE.

Isn't there a rule on somebody softlocking themselves until some value threshold is met and then breaking it? I am fairly certain on WOV there is....

No, but there is a rule against thread hijacking, which your post is an example of. (So is mine!).

I’m wondering…. Is there ANYONE here who thinks either Fetterman or Walker is ‘fit to serve’?
I know there are no legal constraints against either of them serving, but I’m placing a low bar of some minimal mental competency.

I think by my standard, both are ‘unfit’.

Sadly, the state of politics has now set the bar this low.

Sadly competency doesn't seem to be the primary qualification for any job now.

Agreed, Amy Coney Barrett getting appointed to SCOTUS was the epitome of this problem.

Totally agree. Thank God you can vote her out at the next election.
Oh wait, lifetime appointment. Damn, that is just a horrible turn of events for you.
SCOTUS 6-3, I guess it does matter. Who knew? Certainly not the Bobbsey Twins.

What you mean to say is ‘I am a liberal, so I don’t like Any Coney Barrett’, but you accidentally typed what you did?

Geez. Just admit it. If she had the same exact qualifications but was in favor of Roe v Wade she magically would be qualified in your eyes?

What "problem?" That she can actually define what a woman is?
