What would make you think that?

What other group has made laws to discriminate against themselves?

What other group is as welcoming to other races?

What other group calls out racism amongst themselves? When was the last time you heard blacks calling out a black for being racist?

He who needs a "study" to make his point is unable to make his point.

Hey now. An African American professor made up a theory that minorities can’t be racist, only prejudiced, since it’s based on a power structure. Only whitey can be racist, duh.

Never mind by the time he invented the theory power structure in America was based on money and job title, that doesn’t matter, the theory couldn’t possibly have been invented by a smart dude to justify his own racist opinions. Not possible, cuz, you know, said theory.

And a dull person will never be able to articulate a point.

Lucky for me I am not a dull person then.

All things considered, is quoting "studies" to make your point showing anything other than repeating what someone else has said?

“Studies” are based on scientific evidence and data.

Your posts seem to be based on whatever you make up on a given day.

Yes, knowing facts is sub-optimal to misguided opinions. Brilliant!

A "study" is not "facts." It is a study.

A person who can articulate their position in a logical manner is far better intellectually than someone who just quotes a study.

Lets look at this thread. I used several facts to build my position. You used none nor even tried to dispute them. You have merely said I should find some kind of "study" to make my point.

Who is showing better logic and reason?

There is a reason quoting studies is the standard for academic papers. If you just say your position without any basis in the academic establishment, it means very little in traditional debates (or papers).

Generally, a good point is a combination of multiple studies and papers brought together in a coherent way.

Quoting studies to make your point is far more persuasive than just making a point. "Anyone can say anything" (citation needed).
