Tesla dropped 8 positions today (-11.41%). Elon Musk personally lost $8.9 Billion (6.09%) in one day and is now only $12.2 billion ahead of the #3 world billionaire, Gautam Adani (infrastructure, commodities). the world's richest man along with his 5 children who are all executives owns about half of LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton ).

Tesla may end up with a marketcap equivalent to Toyota. Toyota had $27.17 B in earnings in the trailing twelve months, more than double Tesla's $12.60 B. Toyota is the #1 Japanese company by market cap.

TSLA has been a cult stock with no regard to metrics. One must wonder if Musk's shares were what was keeping the entire supply of shares just low enough to keep the insane price? Just a few models none of which is an actual SUV and one of the ugliest interiors out there maybe the investors are getting that it is nothing special as a car?

A lot of people at my gym drive Teslas.

Whenever I park next to one I am shocked at how bad the interiors are. They are so cheap and plain looking. People get excited over this?!

TSLA has bounced from #20 to #14 anking by market cap in the last two days.

So it does seem as if TSLA will not join the other automakers.

Tesla $384.4 Billion
Toyota $187.79Billion
All other automakers under $100Billion

Ironic that its share price should plummet just as TSLA attains actual profitability.

Just one example of why I tend to avoid involvement in companies inextricably linked to one person.

I'd rather deal with companies whose management remains anonymous enough that they couldn't get arrested, unlike SBF and Elizabeth Holmes.

Elon's net worth is all over the place according to Google. I saw a link that says his net worth is 164 Billion, one that said 228 Billion, one that said 136 Billion, but the most common one is 146 Billion. 😀 So, he must be 146 Billion.
Alec Baldwin's gun should have been CGI. Would have prevented the tragedy. Facts.
