Overall do you figure experienced and/or frequent travelers miss flights at a higher ratio than inexperienced and/or infrequent travelers?

Oh, I got wind of another epic mis-scheduling, This guy and his family were traveling to NYC and their boarding time was at "one." So they arrive at the airport at 11 am on the dot, go to the check-in counter, and find out their flight had left ten hours before.

Now, I'm familiar with airline tickets, and they either specify am/pm, or use a 24-hour format. Thus their tickets would have either stated 1:00 am or 01:00, rather than 1:00 pm or 13:00.

But if it was the latter format, someone inexperienced or unknowledgeable might understandably make that mistake.

The date on the ticket would have also been different.

I would think much higher because business travelers frequently miss flights because meetings run late.

It was 1:00 or 13:00 of the same day in the scenario presented.

I'm sure in absolute numbers this is so, even if only due to the greater number of opportunities to miss a flight.

But the percentage of flights missed is another matter.

One popular way for infrequent travelers to miss a plane is oversleeping. This is common in destinations with a lively nightlife, when people try to make the most of their last night, then fail to wake up in time for their flight.

This happens on business trips, too.

What did Kermit the frog say at Jim Henson’s funeral?

Nothing.

Dated Roman joke:

The Ides of March isn't about stabbing. It's about coming together and stabbing in groups.

Is there one that isn't dated?

I just found this one:

Why did the Roman Coliseum have to close?
The lions had eaten up all the prophets!

This one resurrects every 365.25 days on average.

It also literally includes a date.

If your diet consists solely of meat (and I can't think of anyone for whom this would be so), then considering all factors such as animal feed, transportation, processing, etc., you'd use up more energy walking a mile than driving a mile (considering all factors involved in manufacturing the car, fuel, etc.)
