Is it a coincidence that my birthday falls on Easter this year or do you think it is the revelation religion has been waiting for? I may be Jesus incarnate.

Maybe you're the beast? Do you favor 666?

When you consider the decline of a major power, it bears remembering one thing:

Rome wasn't built in a day, and it didn't fall in a day either.

I've not eaten them very much but I am SHOCKED. SHOCKED.

All Skittles, no matter what color are the same flavor.

Really?

I've only eaten them once. I thought they were just really bad candy. Or my taster was off.

That's a relief. I guess that makes them m&m's with awful stuff inside.

Not really. Skittles have different flavors, by color.

Apparently most people can't guess the flavor correctly when they don't see the color.

Dont know that I've heard that piece before. That first movement is very technically challenging. Almost percussive. And so fast. It almost hurt my ears on the passages where she was alternating right and left chords so fast - kind of a pressure change happening there.

The 2nd and 3rd seemed more typically Beethoven. Smoother and more melodic. Curious why you posted it among all to choose from. Thanks.

Thought about it. I never really came up with a good answer.

I was trying to find a previous link to his 5th symphony. Not just any link, as there are many. But the only recording I ever heard where I heard the symphony as a melodic work as opposed to a rhythmic one. Up until then, the development of the melodies escaped me in the constantly developing motif of da da da Da, call and recalls.

I know an old guy who plays piano
every day. He tried to take lessons
as a kid to play complicated Beethoven
but the dexterity needed was out of
his toolbox. And he's a genius player,
can play anything from memory after
just hearing it once. He knows the Beethoven
piece above, he just hasn't the skill to
play it.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
