I think so. I blame the spell checker on IE whatever-version-I'm-using. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Yeah, I was pretty confused by that too. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Think of all the infantile, but well educated, people who've been disappointed by "The Eschaton Trilogy" for the wrong reasons :) (*) (*) Really, you'll frighten super-advanced aliens with that?? Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

"tautological" fetish would have been good too. I would have been trying to figure it out. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

rxwine Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 188 Posts: 18633 | One of the new gopro videos had a guy paragliding high speed through a gap between twin multistory towers of some resort area. I would be pissed as hell if I was on the 8th, 10th whatever floor on vacation and a dumbass comes crashing through my hotel window or balcony. I suppose the primary motivation of stunts is not always paying attention to collateral damage. If you base jump in the wilderness, not much chance you will damage anything but yourself. rxwine Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 188 Posts: 18633 | Also, I wonder about the stats on paragliding. I've been impressed more than once that it can be extremely calm and then have hard gusts come seemingly out of nowhere. Maybe not a problem unless you're near something at the time. Fleastiff Member since: Oct 27, 2012 Threads: 62 Posts: 7831 | Its become a good insertion technique. You may recall a recent rescue attempt where it is believed a barking dog gave away the presence of approaching rescue commandos. Landing nearby a terrorist camp and having to go yomping (British term) across country to get to the destination is old style. Landing silently right where you want to be is the latest technique. Sure buildings provide some wind distortion but not all that much and a glider or ultralight won't penetrate a skyscraper's curtain wall, the most that would happen is the martinis on the terrace get spilled. |
