You must go to silly expensive places. ‘House’ wine for $15 a glass? I think at our expensive local restaurants that swill is never over $12, and usually less. What is a decent glass there, $25? |

Glass of wine?????? Last time I went out with friends for fine dining 5 of us Bought wine by the bottle I think we had 3 Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I don't drink wine so I wouldn't know a decent glass from a great one. My wife drinks wine and usually orders the house wines, I would guess $12 is pretty typical here. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Biggest rip-off in any restaurant. Charge you $12 for glass of wine that cost them $0.30. The markup on alcohol in restaurants is astronomical. The markup on alcohol in a bar is astronomical. I made 1000% profit on every liter of booze I sold when I had a bar. I paid $3 wholesale for a liter of bourbon or vodka or gin and sold it one shot at a time for $30. All day long. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I believe that, Coke syrup is pretty cheap. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

That's ridiculous. If you don't practice what you preach why would anybody take you seriously. It's like obese doctors, how can they tell patients what to do when they can't even do it themselves. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
