It baffles me to see the very low quality of toilet paper provided by many businesses, including casinos.

It's cost-effective and you would be surprised at the number of people that steal toilet paper. Mostly women because they can put it in the big purse and nobody knows it's there. I watch a lot of hiking videos, people that hike 2000 miles. They're always stealing toilet paper out of fast food places and gas stations.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I was in a casino bathroom and the attendant was rolling his eyes. We could both hear the toilet paper in one of the stalls going round and round.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

People steal everything out of bathrooms if it's not nailed down. In restaurants they take those individual salt and peppers mustard and ketchup, sometimes salt or sugar comes in the glass dispensers they will steal those off the table. Cloth napkins and silverware. Many people are basically crooks but they don't look at it that way.

I'll confess.

Over my life time I've taken most of the little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and bars of soap from the room when I check out.

Wound up with a couple containers of the stuff, which I thought I'd use eventually but in fact I have never used them at home and probably never would use them..

So I gave it all to Goodwill, so they can give it to those who need it.

Also took a few logo'ed coffee mugs from my comped rooms at Chinook Winds.

Never took any linens though.

Never taken anything from a hotel room because number one, I don't need it. Number two I would never use it anyway. Who wants to have that cheap hotel crap at home. I used to know a guy who would steal everything in a hotel room, even the light bulbs. He would take an empty suitcase with him so he could steal a blanket or pillow. Hard to get away with it now because they'll charge your credit card.

Hikers I forgive. You really don't want to rely on what's out there in nature in an on demand basis

If every time you needed to 'shit in the woods' there was one of these plants handy, those who know say they are the best

Lamb's ear

Got ar frozen turkey today at Walmart because the week before Thanksgiving is the best time to get your turkey, the prices are always more the week of Thanksgiving. It was $0.89 a pound the same as it's been for years. I'm going to hack it up once it's thawed and cook a turkey breast in the pressure cooker. Green bean casserole and homemade stuffing and I'll be set to go for Thanksgiving. You'll all get to see it here in the food thread, lucky you. My cats love Thanksgiving because they'll be the beneficiaries of 80% of this turkey. Years ago I cooked a 20lb turkey and completely strip all the edible meat off of it in a weighed about 10 lb. So if you pay $0.90 a pound you're really paying $1.80 a pound.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Wegmans 58 cents a pound. Tops then went 48 cents a pound. Both are loss leaders, obviously. Wife did a great job on turkey last Thanksgiving. Hope she remembers what she did!
