Thanks. That will give me one more reason to go to the BVI. I've always heard they were better than the American ones. Where am I? Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

I spent a weeks in the US virgin Islands (St Croix) for work in the 1980's. I was only in the British Virgin Islands for the wedding. The British islands are infinitely more exclusive. The wedding was held in October to take advantage of shoulder rates so that all their friends could afford to come. Otherwise it would be very expensive. |

British things generally are. (He says with tongue firmly in cheek and showing some uncharacteristic national pride). It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |

I'll settle on 'somewhere in Thailand'. I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

Interesting. Knew nothing about it.
Not uniformly though.

You're in the right part of the world, but none of those specific countries. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

No. This one is 34 meters high. The largest is 128 meters high. One source claims that this was the largest bronze seated Buddha, until 2007. However, this one looks impressive because it sits atop a hill. One must climb lots of steps to get to it. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
