Fleastiff Member since: Oct 27, 2012 Threads: 62 Posts: 7831 | Today was grocery shopping day, despite the six mile trek, because I was out of drinking water. Of course after the six mile return trek the whole day is gone and about half the water is also gone. I bought two brocolli things because they were "twofers". Put them aside though and chopped up the remaining head of cauliflower for steaming all of it, not just the more desireable florets or whatever. Can't afford to waste nuttin'. Steamed, then dumped into dish with butter and pepper jack cheese on top. I'm still on a 'savings kick' and when I get up to fifty dollars I plan on treking to the "local" Seminole RipOff Hotel and Casino. After recent headlines 'bout crooked electronic craps, I think I'll have to do Baccarat or Blackjack. Meanwhile, I got two days of cauliflower, four days of broccolli, half a day of raisin bran and a box of spaghetti which should take me another day and half. Maybe even more if I find some sauce for the spaghetti somewhere. I knows I got a clove of garlic. Maybe I should try Black Garlic? |

Its one of them hot plate in water devices with two perforated plastic chambers. The water evolves steam, the steam rises, most if then condenses and falls down into the reservoir. Simple. But WHY is that water reservoir now RED. Brocolli is GREEN and I know, absolutely know, I did not leave any of them rubber bands still on the brocolli. |

Fleastiff Member since: Oct 27, 2012 Threads: 62 Posts: 7831 | Success!! I took some steaks out of the freezer last night and put them in the refrigerator. During the night I added something labled marinade, lemon pepper, pepper, cumin on top of the stil frozen meat. In the morning I splashed some iced tea on top of the marinade, added cumin and put it in a hot oven. Drank a glass of milk and turmeric for breakfast and felt very sleepy for some reason. Fortunately I turned off the over before going back to bed and turning on that darned vacuum cleaner. It turns out I slept all day and woke up about 4:00pm or so. This made the steak really soft and tender unlike my usual results which resemble the proverbial leather belt. |

Lots of it. I could make tortillas, but there's nothing to be gained by that. Besides, I don't have a tortilla press. any ideas what else can be made with corn meal? I know about polenta and cornbread, none of which seems very appealing. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |
