Free Degrees For Inmates? Welcome to NY

Supreme Leader Cuomo is at it again. Here in the People's Republic, he's trying to give inmates the opportunity to earn free college degrees, a move, he says, will help the rate of recidivism.

That's all well and good, but at $60,000 a year for an inmate (a rate that absolutely shocked me), he's gonna throw $5k more on top. He's gonna give criminals access to a highly desired resource that thousands of clean, legal NY'ers haven't a chance at. Not to mention his weed and gun laws which only serve to increase the rate at which NY'ers are incarcerated.

At $60k a year, we're already double the National average of cost of incarceration. We are already one of the highest taxed states in the nation. We have an infrastructure so badly worn that 40% of all water that is collected, treated, and pumped to homes is lost through leaks and fissures. We have a grid system that just recently suffered one of the worst blackouts in history. We are constantly under the umbrella of emergency scenarios what with the floods, snow, and hurricanes.

And this mental defective wants more.

Only in the People's Republic.

Is this part supportable?

Saving tax dollars is less spending for taxpayers, unless it is false.

Fairness, is another issue, of course, Prisoners getting something before regular non-criminal joes and janes.

State elects a far-left politician and this comes as a surprise? Be glad he isn't giving weekend passes and paid trips to Fire Island for them.
