I've got a new Favorite Charles Bronson Movie - "Hard Times" - 1975

Keep in mind that Bronson was 55 when
that movie was made. Look at how toned
he is, zero body fat. He was what they
used to call a natural athlete. He had
perfect balance and in between takes
in movies he would often stand by
himself away from the set, not moving
a muscle, for as long as an hour, just
staring into the distance.

He worked out for an hour a day
most of his life. Climbing ropes,
heavy punching bag, free weights.
At 75 he could do 100 pushups.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

No, he just worked out. We are all supposed to have his physique and his abilities at that age.

Its just that some of us choose to smoke or choose to take the elevator or workout where there is spandex and purple eye shadow.

No, I read his biography years ago,
he was a natural athlete. He was
also a horse whisperer, though it
wasn't called that then. He had an
amazing way with horses, they
worshiped him.

He was a coal miner in his teens
and developed bad claustrophobia.
In the tunnel scenes in The Great
Escape he could only spend a few
minutes in the tunnel before he
freaked out.

I found this interesting in Wikipedia

Bronson made a serious name for himself in European films. In 1968, he starred as Harmonica in Once Upon a Time in the West. The director, Sergio Leone, once called him "the greatest actor I ever worked with",[28] and had wanted to cast Bronson for the lead in 1964's A Fistful of Dollars. Bronson turned him down and the role launched Clint Eastwood to film stardom

There's one movie that I've caught a few times, where Bronson kills nearly every punk in the neighborhood at the end of the film. There are a couple hundred at least.

Probably one of the Death Wish films
He made a bunch
1st one was excellent and very realistic.
After that it went downhill and comical with him taking on whole neighborhoods full of gangs

Do see Death Wish 3 (Bronson and the old folks vs. the drug gang) ... It is HI-Larious. My favorite gag is the booby-trap by the second story window!

Wasn't it Death Wish 3 that had the nude scene with Marina Sirtis (soon-to-be Deanna Troi of Star Trek Next Generation)?

Goldang, there are a hella lot of WW2 movies. I thought that would narrow the search for this movie about German soldier captured and recruited to spy (trying to pinpoint where a German Panzer tank division was going to be for the allies). Based on a true story. I still can't find it.

There's a couple known but 2nd tier American actors in it, but can't remember any of their names.
