It's nothing amazing, but it's entertaining and I thought James McAvoy gave a great performance. But.... the best thing was the very last scene. Massive (but awesome) spoiler: Bruce Willis shows up playing his character from Unbreakable! It might be an alternative fact.
But there are two Jedi now: Luke and Rey. Luke costs too much and is too old to carry the lead, therefore if there is to be one last Jedi, he has to come back on Ep. IX as a force ghost. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

I'm curious as to if/how they will handle force ghosts in this movie. There have been rumors that Ewan McGregor will make an appearance (he did record a line for Rey's force vision thing in The Force Awakens)... but I can't see the fans reacting well to a Hayden Christensen cameo. That was a horrible idea from the start. execution aside, what's wrong with re-casting roles? There's been talk already about re-casting Leia. That might eb a good idea, if the story requires it. I'd hate it if Leia dies offstage or, worse, between movies. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |
