What's up with Summer Glau? I thought she was great in the Terminator T.V. spinoff. Was it called, "Sarah Connor"? |

It's a beautifully filmed movie and a nice story. I would gladly watch it again. Best line is when a Jew gangster goes to the chair and is converted to Catholicism on death row. His mother laments: "He a murderer and now he's a Christian. I don't know which is worse." Woody Allen humor. Bruce Willis was chosen for one of the main characters but was replaced by Steve Corell because the cast constantly complained that Willis was hard to work with and constantly forgot his lines. So Woody Allen fired him. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

"Sarah Connor Chronicles" Summer (age 36) had a baby girl in January 2015. Since then she has only done three episodes of television series in projects headed by her old Firefox fellow actors, Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk. |

Thanks for the update Paco. In the interesting timing category... James Cameron announced last night that Linda Hamilton would be returning in the next "Terminator" project (which will also include Arnold Schwarzenegger). |

What I'd like to know is where the story was headed after the season 1 cliffhanger. The show started off well, before they had all sorts of people from the post-apocalyptic future traveling back in time. I mean, you may as well send back an army and chop embryo Skynet to bits and be done. But the notion of the liquid metal terminators not being quite with Skynet was interesting. Wow. Age 60 and 70. Linda Hamilton hasn't made a movie in two decades. But if anyone can pull it off, it's James Cameron. But by conventional wisdom, Arnold's last two Terminator movies were not profitable. Maybe it is going to be like Star Wars where the old guard plays second fiddle to the new actors. Terminator: Genisys Production Budget: $155 million Domestic: $89,760,956 20.4% + Foreign: $350,842,581 79.6% Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Production Budget: $200 million Domestic: $150,371,112 34.7% + Foreign: $283,000,000 65.3% Terminator 2:Judgment Day Production Budget: $102 million Domestic: $205,876,026 39.5% + Foreign: $315,000,000 60.5% The Terminator Production Budget: $6.4 million Domestic: $38,371,200 49.0% + Foreign: $40,000,000 51.0% |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | The Age of Adeline, Blake Lively, Harrison Ford. What a lovely movie, very good and I don't know why. No action, no cussing, no sex, not a hint of violence. I don't think there was even any real anger. Just a story about woman who stopped aging at 29 and is now over 100. Blake Lively is so convincing in the part, so gorgeous, yet so wise and sure of herself, she carries the whole movie. This is something very good that I hope to see again and again. I was really surprised. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
