The Aviator was good but not because of him. Catch-me-if-you-can was good but not because of Leonardo DiCaprio. Gangs of New York was okay but I don't even remember him in it. He's just an okay actor, who happens to be good looking. I like Robert Redford in the original Gatsby movie way better than I like Leonardo DiCaprio. He's very hard to take seriously. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Wife and I watched a movie we hadn't heard of before, one with Leonardo as leading man: he nailed it. "Don't Look Up." |

What's Eating Gilbert Grape was made when DiCaprio was age 19. that was followed by Romeo + Juliet and "Marvin's Room". But then they move into the more commercial acting. I thought he was an excellent Howard Hughes. |
