Kelly Le Brock (age 53) was one of those super hot movie stars between the ages of 24 and 33. While time waits on no one, we have come to expect the super hot to stay pretty incredible (look at Christy Brinkley at age 60).

Whew! Even at (only) 53 that's pretty extreme, especially for someone whose livelihood once depended on looks. Needs more time at the gym and less at the dinner table...

She is making so many mistakes in that picture. She's still getting lip injections, to a ridiculous extent. Her clothes are 2 sizes too tight and 20 years too young for her. Her eye makeup is too harsh and narrows her eyes. Her hair is completely unflattering, from the color to the cut to the length. She could look so much better than that just by changing clothes, wearing the right bra, and getting her hair styled larger. Horrible necklace for her, too. Everything emphasizes her jaw and upper arms. Very sad. There's a soft, mature beauty to her that she's completely denying.
Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has

They could do a celebrity version of "What not to Wear", except I don't think anyone's egos could handle it.

I usually don't tease apart photos of women but strangely enough I happen to agree with your analysis. The Racoon Eyes, the hair, the necklace... and yes, some sort of surgery seems to be involved with the lips. Many stars get bad advice from professional stylists. I don't know how it happens. I knew one young actress on the Soaps who was complemented by the make-up and hair people. She was so easy for them to work with and it went quickly. The actress's secret: she assumed they knew their job and she didn't try to argue with them.

The trouble is that sometimes stars do get really bad advice particularly in the area of weight. Turning to pills and scalpels is so tempting but so utterly foolish. I don't see how anyone could have convinced her those lips are appealing. A good thorough medical exam, a good diet, a good workout-buddy, a good hair stylist and a good make up artist could all help.... but how is it that someone who could afford all those specialists gets such crappy advice somewhere?

She's only done 2 projects in 7 years. Both by the same director, low budget, and she is the top star in them. That's a career in the dumper.

She may be doing other work, just didn't see it.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

She was one of the most sought after models in the world when she was younger. I seriously doubt this present look is because of bad advice.

I will never, ever, ever understand the Hollywood mentality of "corrective surgery" or "surgical enhancement".

I know a few in real life who've had something done. Maybe boobs, maybe fixed a broken nose from youth. Not a one looks "better" than before. I know "better" is subjective, but whatever.

A girl I worked with was talking botox to address crow's feet. I freaked out. Said it was horrible and described, unflatteringly, what botox makes you look like. She produced a pic of her two friends, one with and one without the procedure. I pointed out the poison face in less than a second.

Just stop it. Age with grace. A little grey, a little crease, that's what's supposed to happen. Men have to deal with change, too. The strength and stamina that allowed us the jobs of our pasts need be replaced with something else. Maybe some brains, maybe some ability. I don't know any 50 year old roofers knocking back the HGH to allow them to slang shingles like they were 20.

Just stop it. You look like a fool. Or worse, a monster.

Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

Men are going for surgery (in particular under eyes) in record numbers

One could argue that surgery is not as life-altering.

One could argue anything. And I'll of course argue right back =)

For every Clooney, there's 45 Kenny Rogers. Them's bad odds, man. Just get old and love it.
