Christianity teaches that all human beings are made in the image and likeness of God

You're doing it again. We can claim
nothing as our own.

Quote:
For the life of me I can't see how 1 and 2 relate or support each other.

You give all the credit to god for everything,
you say we are nothing on our own, it all
comes from him. Then you appoint yourself,
or others appoint you, as representing the
god. This gives you power over the believers,
which is the intent of the whole thing.

Because of this, your church had enormous
power at one time, the church was consulted
on every subject by kings and monarchs.
Your power has diminished greatly, but some
of it is still intact. All because you claim we are
nothing without god, and therefore nothing
without his church and his priests.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Did you give yourself life? What can you claim as your own I wonder?

God is the obvious creator of all things unless you have another theory.

The idea that all of us are equal in the eyes of God destroys your argument. I have no power at all if not from God, and anything God gives is meant to serve others. I think you have the wrong religion or ideology here. In Christianity there are no caste systems, no people that are better than anyone else, everyone is a brother and sister - part of the family of God. As Jesus said, "The greatest among you must be the least and the servant of all."

Again you need to connect the dots better here. How do you go from someone claiming we are nothing without God to we are nothing without His Church and His priests? The first part of your statement eliminates the second as redundant.

Those are just words, they have no
reality because your invented god
doesn't exist.

I don't claim any of that, your Church does.
You claim god is everything, and you and
your Church represent god, so you have
gods power over your believers. You even
claim the pope is the closest thing we
have to god on earth. It's all poppycock
invented to have the utmost power
possible over peoples lives. And it
worked for a very long time, for hundreds
of years the Church was the most powerful
institution on earth.

Planet X, which is also known as Nibiru, will pass Earth on Sept. 23, causing volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes.

A friend that is pretty religious sent me this, and I read most of it but it doesn't make much sense to me?
And then something relating to it showed up on our directv, I haven't watched it. Wondered if it might have traveled around FrG's circle's? Personally, I'm pretty sure the 24th will be much like the 23rd.

"And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth."

The woman in question is Virgo, and on September 23, the sun and moon will be in Virgo, as will Jupiter, now being said to represent the Messiah. This happens every 12 years.

The other planetary alignment, representing "the Lion of the tribe of Judah" consisting of the 9 stars in LEO + Mercury+Mars+Venus is an unprecedented event foretold in scripture. The combination of stars and the bright planets give you the 12 stars in the scripture which form her crown.

Virgo and Leo are the 5th and 6th signs of the zodiac.

Ummm...Santa is pretty much the most un-obvious answer. Think.

Creation myth? Why do you say that? The scientific community and any philosopher worth his or her salt would tell you that the material universe was created. It is not a myth, something had to create all that we see. Take your finger out of your ears and stop cover your eyes like a little child. Someone who believes today in an eternal universe is more akin to believing in never, never land.

Words have reality and just because they destroy your argument doesn't mean you can ignore them or God.

Why do you continue to embarrass yourself by boldly declaring what my Church does or teaches?

Quote:
You claim god is everything, and you and

I claim that God is the source of everything and you, me, and everyone represent God. I don't see where you get that anyone has power over anyone else?

Ludicrous and may I say a stupid argument that is equivalent to a 3rd grade understanding of Catholicism.

What you say the Church teaches is indeed poppycock. However, what the Church really teaches is true and not invented but revealed so that the powers of the world may tremble before a crucified Lord who tells every human person they are worth dying for.
